Karen Velocci, Director of Technology for the Autism Cares Foundation, presented a seminar ‘ iPad Technology for Parents and Professionals’ for the Delaware County Right to Education Task Force at the Delaware County Intermediate Unit Building in Morton, PA this evening.
The seminar focused on iPad basic functionality, how to download and customize apps to integrate into daily routines at home, school and the community. Educational apps are presented in a visual, interactive way and it can help enhance learning for special learners of all ages.
The presentation was very informative and well received by all the attending participants. Additional workshops are now scheduled for the winter/spring.
