News - Layout For Luke

Luke Harvan, a member of the Autism Cares Foundation community, unexpectedly passed away in 2019. At that time, his family asked that donations in his memory be directed to ACF because Luke loved ACF events, especially the 21+ Friends Club. Luke was beloved near and far which is how he came to be honored at the Layout for Luke ultimate frisbee tournament. This year’s tournament took place on April 2, which was also Autism Acceptance Day. Luke’s older brother, Mike, played on the ultimate frisbee club at the University of Scranton. Luke spent a lot of time with this group and made a lasting impression. The proceeds of the 2022 Layout for Luke tournament were donated to ACF and personally delivered by his brother Mike. ACF thanks Dan Wolfinger, President of University of Scranton’s Ultimate Frisbee Club, the Harvan family, and everyone involved with planning, playing, and donating to the Layout for Luke in Luke’s memory. The event was covered by the local news.
