Adult Services Division

Autism Cares Foundation has been custom designing supports programs for people with disabilities since 2016.  Using the philosophy of person-centered planning, we work together to create a plan that is unique to the person we support. Many individuals choose to be supported during local classes, events, and outings that interest them; such as art classes, bowling, visiting local parks and museums, and many others.

Personal Enrichment Programs

Autism Cares Foundation offers Personal Enrichment Program (PEP) that is designed to assist adults with autism and other intellectual disabilities to explore new educational topics while expanding their own personal interests. At this time, PEP has been designed for those individuals who demonstrate a higher level of independence within the community setting. Our goal is to continue to expand not only the course, club, and activity selections but offer course to a wider audience.

The multi-pronged approach includes enhancing social and independence skills, integration into the community through volunteering, and creating possible trainings and opportunities. PEP courses provide avenues where participants experience normalization and socialization, explore new interests, enjoy leisure activities, and improve social skills, in a safe and respectful environment. PEP will help participants build connections within peer groups and the community. All courses, clubs and related activities will be private pay.
